Volunteers invited to take part in bi-annual Adopt A Highway cleanup in Manson

Manson, WA – The Manson Chamber of Commerce will hold their bi-annual Adopt A Highway Cleanup this Saturday, Sep. 16, 2017. Volunteers are need help pick up trash and garbage left behind from the tourist season from Hale Street, next to Green Dot Sub Shop, down to Bennett Road, approximately a 2.5 miles.

This is a great way to give back to your community. The effort typically takes round two hours or less to complete depending on the number of volunteers that come out to help with the effort.

Training, safety vests, garbage bags and tools are provided to get the job done. The group will assemble this Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Manson Chamber of Commerce office, located at 145 E. Wapato Way in Manson. Lunch and bottled water are also provided. For more information, call (509) 433-8300.
