Veterans Day Parade comes to downtown Chelan this Saturday, Nov. 11

Come one, come all to join in the Veterans Day Parade and celebration in downtown Chelan this Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at 11 a.m. This will be a day to remember and honor our service men and women who have scarified so much to protect our country. This year the Parade is sponsored by the Lake Chelan Lions Club.

Woodin Avenue, Downtown Chelan

Veterans lunch at the Chelan Fire Station following the parade

The parade will start with participants lined up on North Columbia Street, by Safeway and Chase Bank. It will travel down North Columbia Street, turn left on E. Woodin Ave and then turn right on Sanders Street. The parade will end at the Chelan Fire Station on Sanders Street and E. Wapato Avenue.

After the parade the Chelan Fire and Rescue Firefighters Local 4816 will provide a lunch to all the Veterans and First Responders at no charge. Others are welcome to join us for lunch, suggesting a $5 donation.

The Chelan Firefighters will be collecting food for the Lake Chelan Food Bank to help those in need get through the holidays. Please bring food that you wish to donate. 

We hope to see lots of you there to honor veterans this Saturday! Bring your family and friends!
