SafeSitter course offered by Lake Chelan Community Hospital June 23-24

A two-day babysitting course will be taught by Lake Chelan Community Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the Chelan Fire Station located at 232 E. Wapato Avenue in Chelan.

The class will be offered June 23 – 24, 2017, from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Lunch will be provided both days. The cost is $75.

Curriculum provides hands-on practice in lifesaving technique and instruction, including:

  • How a child’s age affects how to care for them
  • How to prevent problem behavior
  • How to run your own baby sitting business
  • Basic first aid, infant and child choking rescue and CPR
