If you are a Chelan Middle School/High School (grades 6 – 12) student-athlete the school invites you, your parents and all coaches to attend an informational night on Proactive Coaching for all students interested in athletics for next year.
The Chelan Extracurricular Association is excited to announce that Mike Morgan from Proactive Coaching will be presenting more about roles of the students, roles of the parents and roles of the coaches.
“We believe understanding these roles can help make us all stronger in our individual roles when dealing with athletics,” Athletic Director Rob Rainville said in the program announcement.
There is NO COST. The day is June 7, 2017.
All student-athletes will be asked to attend for one hour after school in the CHS PAC from 3:15-4:15 p.m. Parents will be asked to attend from 6-7 p.m. in the PAC, where the schools will discuss the Proactive Coaching philosophy, Summer Weights Program, summer schedules, and completing athlete and Family ID, the new registration program for athletics/activities. From 7-8 p.m. parents will attend training on Family ID with Rob Rainville while coaches attend Pro-Active Coaching in the PAC.
