Preliminary General Election results are in; see which candidates are ahead

Chelan County Elections has released preliminary 2017 General Election results for all races and issues around the county, as well as Chelan County results for multi-county races.

A total of 11,129 ballots have been counted so far, with an estimated 2,858 ballots left to count. This represents a 25,64% voter turnout.

The “contested” positions in the Lake Chelan Valley include:

  • Chelan City Council Member #6 – Candidate Tim Hollingworth and Incumbent Cameron Skip Morehouse
  • Chelan City Council Member #7 – Candidates Ty Witt and Rachael Goldie
  • Lake Chelan School District 129, School Board Member, Director District #3 – Candidates Dave Rinehart and Ken Brunner
  • Manson School District No.19, School Board Member, Director District #5 – Candidates Paul Willard and Greg Neff
  • Fire District Commissioner #1 – Candidates Butch Sims and Phil Moller
  • Lake Chelan Hospital District No. 2, Commissioner #1 – Candidate Jeremy Jaech and Incumbent Mary Signorelli
  • Lake Chelan Hospital District No. 2, Commissioner #5 – Candidate Jerry Isenhart and Incumbent Phyllis Gleasman
  • Manson Parks and Recreation District, Commissioner #3 – Candidates Ross Young and Lanny Armbruster

Results for these races as of Nov. 7, 2017 at 8 p.m. are below.

The next ballot count for Chelan county results will take place on Nov. 9 at 4:30 p.m. We will provide updated results at that time. Chelan County Election results will be certified on Nov. 28, 2017.
