This Saturday, September 9, 2017, downtown Chelan celebrates ‘All Things Cars’ as the Lake Chelan Car Club once again hosts their annual Lake Chelan Car Show at Riverwalk Park. This event is always the second weekend in September.

All cars, trucks and bikes welcome! Last year 80 cars were entered in the show and showcased in Riverwalk Park. Visitors and residents will once again have a chance to talk to car owners and pick their favorite car as ‘Best in Show.’

On Friday night September 8, car show participants will rev up and join together for a BBQ at Leo Miller’s Shop in Chelan.

The Lake Chelan Car Show kicks into gear on Saturday begins with registration opening at 8 a.m. Awards and trophies will be awarded at 2:30 p.m.

Over at the Historic Ruby Theatre, they will be showing American Graffiti from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

To cap off the celebration on Saturday evening, the city of Chelan will allow the Woodin Avenue Bridge (Old Bridge) to be shut down for a fun-filled evening of dancing and live music. The Community Bridge Dance starts at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the Historic Downtown Chelan Association.
