The Lake Chelan Ladies Golf Club has been playing Thursday golf since their opener on March 30, 2017. “The golf course is looking great thanks to Jared Finch, Greens Superintendent and his crew,” Mary Couchee wrote in latest report. “Even though we were rained out on April 6, we had a wonderful breakfast prepared by the new concessionaires, CJ’s on the Course and our first monthly meeting.”

The rest of the Thursdays in April showed the number of players growing each week as members return to Chelan and get in the swing of things.

The Ladies Club also expressed thanks to Alice Soma on behalf of all the members. “Alice Soma, a big thank to you for doing the report of our Tee Time for the past five years. It’s a time consuming job and we’ve all appreciated your weekly effort. You’ve passed your baton to Mary Couchée who begins her reporting for the May 4th Weekly Competition. Thank you again, Alice. We love you!”

Under sunny skies last Thursday, May 4, the weekly competition was Monthly Medal with 28 players. This was also Round 1 of our Apple Blossom Tournament. Players advancing in the tournament are posted on the window in the Club House.
