This year marks the Third Annual Jerry Isenhart Jr. Memorial Football Game played in Chelan to honor Jerry Isenhart Jr., who lost a tough battle with brain cancer in 2014. The event also marks the second year that the scholarship fund established in his name will award $500 to a deserving Chelan Goats football senior.

The game will be a scrimmage between hosts Chelan Goats and the Entiat Tigers and will be played this Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Sargent Field in Chelan.

The scrimmage football game consists of two 30-minute halves. The game is FREE to attend, but donations will be accepted for next year’s Jerry Jr. Scholarship Fund. Last year, game donations brought in about $1,000, and the goal is to achieve this amount once again.

The Chelan Goats began practices with Head Football Coach Travis Domser at the end of May in preparation for Thursday’s game. The game will begin at 6 p.m. and all are welcome to enjoy this event, honor the memory of Jerry Isenhart Jr., and support the Chelan Goats.
