The retail spot which once housed Company 107 on Woodin Avenue has reopened following extensive remodeling with a new and unique spot for shoppers of downtown Chelan.

Barb Pierre has brought Frenchie’s Flutes and Fleurs to the retail offerings of Chelan. The store features French inspired artisan chocolates, champagne and bellinis, clothing, accessories and home décor. The fleur of the name comes in the form of a mock flower shop where shoppers can build a faux floral bouquet for vases which Pierre offers for sale or for vases at home. The team will even help arrange a custom bouquet to suit shoppers needs.

Pierre explains that she was a longtime visitor of Lake Chelan prior to making the leap to full time resident and business owner.

“I told my husband, after years of visiting, let’s just move here full time,” Pierre stated.

Frenchie’s Flutes and Fleurs will also serve light snacks such as charcuterie platters and seasonal sandwiches to pair with champagnes which can be enjoyed on the newly renovated patio along E. Woodin Avenue. The patio features comfortable seating meant to transport shoppers to a small sidewalk café along the Champs-Elysees as industrial-chic fans installed above keep guests cool.

Pierre says she loves people, and design inspired the style and services of the shop.

“I just love champagne, and I like to design things. I wanted to meet people. I wanted it to be a store where people feel fun and celebrate,” Pierre explained.

Pierre added that she and her team will be happy to help shoppers with interior design and even event planning. The shop features crafty event décor for those who wish to decorate their birthday celebrations and other special events with some French style.
