Diners of the Lake Chelan area will now have a new option for fresh-fare with the grand opening of Panda Chinese Restaurant that happened on April 11, 2017. Qun Luo and Fu Zhong moved to the area along with their children; Anna, Calvin, Jennifer and David from Alva, Oklahoma to open the restaurant which serves popular favorites such as Genral Tso’s Chicken, Lo Mein and Curry Chicken.
Qun and Fu bring with them 15 years of restaurant experience having owned a restaurant in Oklahoma and working in restaurants in Los Angeles, California. All items are made from scratch at Panda Chinese.
The menu features traditional Chinese cuisine served individually or family-style. Lunch specials are also available daily between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The lunch specials priced from $8.95 – $9.75 include a choice of hot and sour or egg drop soup, a lunch-sized entrée, fried rice, and an egg roll.
“This is enough food for two meals,” lunch diner Jeremy Gleeson stated. Gleeson has dined at Panda Chinese twice in one week and said that he is excited to have a new a place to have lunch in town.
Just some of their lunch and dinner specialties include Chinese fare favorites like: Kung Pao Beef, Sweet & Sour Pork, Szechwan Chicken, Curry Vegetable, Shrimp Lo Mein, Hunan Pork and Moo Goo Gai Pan.
Panda Chinese is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. To go orders are also available by calling (509) 293-7890. The restaurant is located at 127 E. Johnson Avenue in Chelan.
