Each week Chelan High School will be recognizing a Student-Athlete of the Week from Chelan Middle School and High School sports. Each week students will have their award and picture hung outside the Athletic Office and recognized in the bulletin, along with a gift from a local business.

Rob Rainville, M.S. Dean of Students and District Athletic Director said that this week’s winners showed “POWER”: Prepared, Ownership, Work-Ethic, Enthusiasm, Respect
Tobin Wier, the Chelan High School Student Athlete of the Week, was nominated by Chelan Football Coach Travis Domser for his 23 carries for 155 yds/1 touchdown/1 INT, 6 tackles in the 25-6 team win over Bellevue Christian.
Other nominees this week for Chelan High School were:
- Rosa Lopez– training hard in off-season and great work-ethic in Practice – Coach Fox
- Chris Knight– training hard in off-season and great work-ethic in Practice – Coach Anderson
- Elly Collins– Helped Varsity team dominate and win the Ephrata Tournament. Her stats: 10 kills, 1 block, 6 digs and 33/33 serving (100% w/14 aces) – Coach Rainville
Teegan Silva of Chelan Middle School was nominated by Cross Country Coach Polley. Teegan placed first place in the 8th grade race as Chelan competed against 10 other teams.
“Teegan is a great leader and role model,” Coach Polley said. “She leads every day in practice, warm-ups, etc. She has great attitude and work-ethic that will make her a great cross country runner.”
Thank you to the Lakeview Drive-In that has generously given a $20 gift card to each Student Athlete winner each week.
