Chelan Girls Golf athletes compete at Gamble Sands Invite

The Chelan High School Girls Golf team competed in the Gamble Sands Invite in Brewster, WA on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

Chelan Girls Golf Scores:

  • Myranda Evans (96)
  • Madi Harrison (111)

Thanks to all the coaches and participants for a great day of golf in the sunshine! It is great to have teams from all over the state,” Coach Amber Finch reported. “We certainly appreciate you making the trip and giving the kids the opportunity to play a course like Gamble Sands.”

Kenedee Peters from Ephrata was the medalist of the day, shooting a personal best 66. Runner-up was Cassie Kim from Davis in Yakima with a 74, and third place was Megan Billeter from Mt. Spokane with a 78.

The Mt. Spokane took team honors with a 347, Snohomish came in second with a 372, and Bellingham right behind them in third with a 379.

“Thanks again for helping make this tournament a success,” Finch said. “Hope to see you back next year!”
