Chelan Future Business Leaders of America place in Top 10 at State competition

The Chelan High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club recently competed at the State Business Leadership Conference on April 19-22, 2017. The conference took place at the Convention Center and The Davenport Grand in Spokane, Washington. More than 2,000 FBLA members across the state competed.

Throughout 33 events, several Chelan High School students placed in the Top Ten.

  • Madeline Peebles: FBLA Principles & Procedures – Fourth place
  • Becca Ediger: Healthcare Administration – Third place
  • James Estrada: Real Estate – Eighth place
  • Hunter Lehmbecker, Alex Nelson, and Jonathan Zelaya: Banking & Financial Systems – Fifth place

Becca Ediger and Madeline Peebles, with their top-four finish at State, qualified for the National Leadership Conference to be held in Anaheim, California from June 29 to July 2!
