Chelan High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) are conducting their Annual Food Drive to benefit the Lake Chelan Food Bank and members of the community this weekend. FBLA members will be delivering bags and envelopes on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, beginning at 10 a.m.

They are asking the community to fill the bags with nonperishable food items and place them in a VISIBLE place for pick-up on Saturday, Nov. 11 beginning at 10 a.m. This is different than previous years with drop off and pick up only one day apart.

Monetary donations can be placed in the envelope and mailed in or left with your food donation.

Items of need by the Lake Chelan Food Bank are:  Chili, hearty soups, box dinners, mac and cheese dinners, ramen, canned fruits and vegetables, brown rice, boxed cereals (hot and cold), juice, spaghetti sauce, pancake mix, and baking supplies.

This event is organized by Emily Christenson and assisted by Jonathan Zelaya. Please contact Shelley Charlton (509) 881-0858 or Emily Christenson (860) 819-9443 if you have questions or need a bag delivered to you.

Thank you for your support of the Lake Chelan community.
