Following the success of last year’s event, the Manson Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Washington’s Playground, announce the second Annual ‘Monsters in Manson Rat Rod Show’ at Leffler Field in Manson, WA on May 19 and 20, 2017.

Rat Rods are a style of hot rod or custom car that imitates early hot rods from the 1940-1960’s. Most are not finished and are chopped, dropped, built up and built from junkyard scraps to create amazing and fun cars and trucks.

Saturday’s car show on May 20th will be at Leffler Field beginning at 10 a.m. The show includes awards for Best in Show, Most Unusual Motor, Lowest Rider, Weirdest Wheels, Best Rat Truck and Top Metal Art.  There will also be a category exclusive to High School Students to ‘show us your ride with pride’, meaning students can enter any vehicle they drive.

The event is FREE to the public and the cost to enter a vehicle is only $25 with proceeds from the event benefiting the Manson Chamber of Commerce Rat Rod Scholarship, to be awarded to a student planning on entering a trade or college program in the auto repair or automobile industry.
